IDEA MEDICALS (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates a mobile application (the “App”) available for download on Google Play, dedicated to providing a secure, private experience aligned with global healthcare privacy standards. This Privacy Policy outlines our data practices, which fully comply with Google Play’s 2026 policies—including the mandatory Android Privacy Sandbox implementation and strict SDK compliance requirements—alongside global data protection regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (specifically Article 9 governing special category health data), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Mobile Health App Best Practices, the updated Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) (effective April 22, 2026), and relevant healthcare privacy guidelines. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you (“you” or “user”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms set forth herein.
Consistent with our commitment to healthcare privacy and user convenience, the App is designed for immediate, unrestricted use with no account registration, login process, or requirement to provide any personal or health-related information. You can open the App directly after installation and access all its core functionalities without sharing your name, email address, phone number, health status, or any other identifying details. This approach aligns with FTC’s guidance to minimize data collection and ensures compliance with GDPR’s data minimization principles, especially critical for healthcare-related applications.
As a healthcare-focused entity, we prioritize the highest standards of privacy protection, adhering to GDPR’s strict requirements for special category data (including health data) and Google Play’s 2026 data safety mandates. We maintain a strict zero-data collection policy—we do not collect, store, process, or transmit any user data, whether personal, non-personal, sensitive, or health-related. This means we gather no information that could identify you, track your App usage, or link to your personal or health identity. Specifically, we do not collect:
Personal identification information (e.g., full name, email address, phone number, residential address, date of birth, or any data that can individually identify you, including biometric identifiers as defined by the updated COPPA rule);
Device-related data (e.g., unique device identifiers, IP address, operating system version, device model, or network details—consistent with Google’s Privacy Sandbox requirements and FTC’s guidance to limit non-essential device data collection);
Usage-related data (e.g., features accessed, session duration, interaction history, error logs, or App performance metrics);
Health-related data (e.g., health status, medical history, symptom information, or any data classified as special category under GDPR Article 9);
Location data, browsing activity, contact information, or any other data that could link to your personal or health identity.
This zero-data collection practice eliminates the need for explicit consent for health data processing (as required by GDPR Article 9) and ensures full transparency, aligning with EDPB’s 2026 enforcement priorities for healthcare applications. Since no data is collected, there is no user data to process, share, or disclose to any third parties.
To maintain the integrity of the App and protect user privacy—especially critical for healthcare-focused tools—the App is completely free of all forms of advertising. We do not include banners, pop-ups, targeted ads, or any ad-related content. Additionally, we do not partner with third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or monetization services, and we do not use any ad-related SDKs (including those not on Google’s 2026 SDK whitelist) that may collect user data. This commitment aligns with Android Privacy Sandbox standards and FTC’s guidance to avoid privacy risks associated with advertising in healthcare apps.
In line with our healthcare privacy commitment and Google’s 2026 policy updates (including SDK whitelist requirements), the App does not integrate any third-party services—including analytics tools, social media plugins, payment processors, or any external platforms that may collect or process user data. This includes avoiding any third-party SDKs that are not fully compliant with Privacy Sandbox, ensuring no external entities have access to any information related to your use of the App. This practice fully complies with GDPR’s data protection standards and Google Play’s developer requirements for healthcare-related applications.
Since we do not collect any user data—including health-related information—there is no personal, sensitive, or health data stored on our servers, cloud storage, or any other digital platforms. We maintain industry-standard security measures (consistent with healthcare privacy best practices) to protect the App itself, in line with Android 15’s security enhancements and Google Play’s security requirements—including encryption protocols and access controls—to ensure the App operates safely. However, because no user data is collected, there is no risk of unauthorized access, data breaches, or misuse of your information (including health data) through our services, aligning with GDPR’s security obligations and FTC’s mobile health app guidelines.
The App is suitable for users of all ages, including children under the age of 13. In full compliance with the FTC’s updated COPPA rule (effective April 22, 2026)—which expands personal information to include biometric identifiers—and healthcare privacy guidelines, we do not collect any information from children or any other users. We will never request personal or health-related data from minors, and we adhere to COPPA’s requirements for verifiable parental consent (where applicable), ensuring children’s privacy is fully protected in line with global regulations and healthcare privacy standards.
IDEA MEDICALS reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in Google Play policies (including Privacy Sandbox updates and SDK whitelist changes), global data protection laws (such as GDPR’s healthcare data requirements and COPPA’s updated rules), or the App’s functionality. When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about our data practices, in line with healthcare privacy transparency requirements.
