Bhargavi Zaveri Shah

I am a researcher, currently pursuing a doctorate degree in law at the National University of Singapore.

My core research interests are the working of central banks and courts in developing countries. By design or co-incidence, I also end up working on financial regulation, bankruptcy law, regulatory governance and the land market, all in the Indian context.

I have previously held research positions at the Harvard Law School, the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, New Delhi and the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai. I am a lawyer by training and was associated with a law firm prior to taking up full-time policy, research and academia.
