Bhagwat Vaani ("we", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to this policy.
What we collect
• Account info: if you sign up, your email address. If you continue as a guest, only a random anonymous ID — no name or email.
• Your conversations: the questions you ask and the guidance shown back, saved as your history.
• Palm photos: images you capture or choose when you request a palm reading.
• Preferences & usage: your chosen language and request counts.
• Basic diagnostics: standard technical logs that keep the app working and secure.
How we use your information
• To provide guidance, palm readings, kundli, and your saved history.
• To operate, secure, and improve the app.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your messages for advertising.
AI processing & third parties
• To generate responses, the text of your questions and your palm photos are sent to our secure server and to a third-party AI provider (Google, via the Gemini API) that produces the result.
• Your questions and photos are used only to generate your response. They are NOT used to train or improve any AI models, and are not used for advertising.
• We use Google Firebase (Google Cloud) for sign-in and to store your account data and history.
• These providers process data under their own terms and security practices.
Please avoid sharing sensitive details (financial information, health records, or government IDs) in your messages.
Palm photos
Palm photos are used only to generate your reading. They are sent for processing at the moment you request a reading and are not added to your saved profile by us.
Payments
Purchases of credit packs are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of your purchase to add credits to your account; we do not receive your card details.
Data retention & deletion
• We keep your account data and history while your account exists.
• You can delete your account anytime from the menu (⋮ → Delete account), which removes your access and associated data. You can also email us to request deletion.
Children
The app is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed at younger children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date shown above.
