App privacy policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Elite Apps ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in the Bhagavad Gita Android application ("the App").
We do not directly collect personal information such as your name or email address through the App. However, certain third-party services used by the App may collect device information, usage statistics, diagnostic data, and technical information to provide their services and improve app performance.
We do not sell users' personal information.
The App stores information such as favourite verses, reading progress, and preferences locally on your device. This information is used to provide the App's features.
The App uses network connectivity to retrieve Bhagavad Gita verses, translations, and commentaries from its content service.
If you enable daily verse notifications, your selected notification time and the information required to deliver notifications may be stored on our backend and processed by Firebase Cloud Messaging.
The App uses third-party services, including Firebase, Google AdMob, and Google Play services, to support app analytics, crash reporting, configuration, notifications, and advertising.
These services may process certain device information, usage data, or technical identifiers according to their own privacy policies and settings.

Our content service uses Supabase to provide verses, translations, and commentaries. Requests may include the chapter and verse being requested, along with technical information required to deliver the content.
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob to support ongoing development. The App does not offer in-app purchases.
Depending on your device settings, applicable consent requirements, and our advertising configuration, advertisements may be personalised. Ad-related data collection and processing are subject to Google's policies and settings.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children under 13.
You can use the App's reset option, where available, to clear locally stored app data. Notification preferences stored on our backend may require separate cleanup.
Uninstalling the App removes its local data but may not delete information already held by third-party services or our backend.
