Privacy Policy for BGT Hunter Pro

BGT Hunter Pro ("the Extension") is developed by Ömer Faruk Aydoğdu (BGT Akademi). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. DATA WE COLLECT

- Email address: Collected during registration and login for authentication purposes only.

- Search history: Product searches, ASIN lists, and results you generate are stored in your private Firebase account and synced across devices.

- Extension settings: Filters, preferences, and theme settings are stored locally in your browser.

- Product titles: When using the SEO Title Generator, product titles are sent to our Cloudflare Worker and processed by OpenAI's API to generate optimized titles.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

- To authenticate your account and maintain your session.

- To save and restore your search history across devices.

- To generate optimized eBay listing titles using AI.

- We do NOT sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for any purpose.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Extension uses the following services:

- Google Firebase: Account authentication and database storage. Privacy Policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

- OpenAI: SEO title generation only. Product titles (not personal data) are processed. Privacy Policy: https://openai.com/privacy

- EmailJS: Sending verification emails during registration. Privacy Policy: https://www.emailjs.com/legal/privacy-policy/

- Cloudflare Workers: Proxy service for API requests. Privacy Policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

- Amazon.com and eBay.com: The Extension reads publicly available product data only. No personal data is sent to these platforms.

4. PERMISSIONS USED

- tabs: Required to navigate between Amazon and eBay pages during automated product research.

- storage: Required to save user settings, search history, and authentication session data locally.

- host permissions (amazon.com, ebay.com, trends.google.com): Required to read product data for research purposes.

5. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION

- Local data (settings, preferences) remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the extension.

- Firebase data (account, search history) is retained until you request deletion.

- No data is retained by OpenAI, EmailJS, or Cloudflare beyond their standard processing.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

- You may request access to your stored data at any time.

- You may request deletion of your account and all associated data.

- You may opt out of cloud sync by not creating an account.

7. DATA SECURITY

All communications use HTTPS encryption. Passwords are hashed before storage. We take reasonable measures to protect your data.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

BGT Hunter Pro is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect any changes.
