BGMI (Controls) ("the app") shows control layout guides for mobile games. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. The app is developed by an independent developer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Krafton or any game publisher.
The app has no user accounts, does not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location, and the developer does not run any server that receives your data.
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares with Google:
Device identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID
IP address (from which an approximate location may be derived)
Interactions with ads and the app
Diagnostic information such as performance data
Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), Google's User Messaging Platform may ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown.
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used (for example which screens are opened and how long sessions last). It collects app interactions, device identifiers (including a Firebase installation ID and the advertising ID), approximate location derived from IP address, and basic device information. This data is used for analytics and is processed by Google.
All of the data above is encrypted in transit. Google's use of it is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
Internet and network state – to load ads and send analytics.
Run at startup and keep awake – used by the Google analytics and ads libraries to send queued data reliably.
Install referrer – lets Google Play tell the analytics library how the app was installed.
The developer does not store your data. Data collected by Google is kept according to Google's retention policies. You can stop all collection by uninstalling the app, and you can reset your advertising ID at any time in Android settings.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
The developer does not sell your data. The only data shared with third parties is what the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google Analytics for Firebase send to Google, as described above.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
