Approach to Providing Unbundled Legal Services

I believe that it is imperative that clients have legal representation, even if it is for a brief portion of their matter. Independent legal advice is especially important before one signs anything.

Mediation

• Does not have family mediation training

• Acted as counsel in 6-10 mediations in the last 5 years

• Does not act as mediator

Approach to Supporting Clients in Mediation

I meet with clients to obtain the facts and provide them legal advice. If they need me to draft a mediation brief, I am happy to do the same and/or act for them on the day of the mediation. Of course, appearing as counsel on the day of the mediation requires some preparation ahead of time.
