Approach to Providing Unbundled Legal Services:
I am providing mediation services and joint application divorce post mediation. The hope is to provide this service to those struggling financially and preferring a creative agreement with their spouse that puts their family first, now and for the future with the decision makers being you and your spouse rather than expensive and lengthy court proceedings.
I have been a paralegal for 40+ years, last 26 years in complex commercial litigation [including some complex family matters]. I am accredited by the Law Society of BC as a family mediator with family violence screening.
Mediation: I have family mediation training and have conducted 5 or fewer mediations as mediator in the past 5 years. I am a member of the Legal Aid Roster for Mediators.
Approach to Supporting Clients in Mediation:
My approach will be to facilitate the parties to come to a durable future focused agreement, fostering conflict resolution skills that the parties can draw upon as their family grows.
