Approach to Supporting Clients in Mediation

Determine tasks my separated clients believe they can competently perform on their own and suggest resources to help them complete those tasks on their own or for specific type of support e.g. Clicklaw, Court House Library website, JP Boyd's online materials, self-help websites, financing after separation and parenting after separation courses, credit counselling, financial advisors, family justice counselors and ILA lawyers. Then I encourage my mediation clients to use my services to create an agreement respecting interim/final support payments and/or division of property to create a written memorandum of understanding.

Cultural Diversity Experience

I am very experienced and dealing with clients with the following cultural backgrounds and experiences: Canadian, Jewish, Catholic, Protestant, USA, UK, indigenous, USA, England, middle eastern, western and eastern European, Mennonite, Asian, Filipino, South African, married and single parents, gay and lesbian, disabled especially hard of hearing, learning disabilities, Asperger and mobility disabilities, middle and high net worth families, professionals, recreational athletes e.g. running, swimming etc, and own pets.
