Approach to Providing Unbundled Legal Services:
Mediation: I do not have family mediation training.
Approach to Supporting Clients in Mediation:
While I am not a mediator, I frequently represent my clients during mediation and fully support this approach when appropriate. I will initially meet with the client and then determine if they want my assistance with drafting a written mediation brief. In addition I would attend the mediation and provide legal advice throughout the mediation, upon request. I would then draft the agreement reached or review the agreement and provide legal advice if I wasn't in attendance at the mediation.

My clientele is richly diverse and we are always discovering anew that there is enormous variation between countries regarding family law. We brought a winning case to the Hague, and have dealt with family relocation cases where there is no reciprocal agreement with Canada.
