Approach to Providing Unbundled Legal Services:
I typically assess with each client what works best and most efficiently for them. I get feedback on what they feel comfortable doing, and offer suggestions about how I may assist them.
Mediation: I do have mediation training.
Approach to Supporting Clients in Mediation:
I find it most helpful to meet with the client before their mediation to ensure they understand the law, help them prepare their documents, and develop the range of outcomes they would like to see. I also offer services to be available “on-call” during the day of the mediation, should anything arise where further legal advice is required. I can also be available to review proposed agreements or draft up the resulting separation agreement or order.
Cultural Diversity Experience:
I have worked a lot with indigenous people. I have also worked with people from various cultures and backgrounds, and those in same sex relationships.
