Approach to Supporting Clients in Mediation

I would explain the process to the client. I would discuss their case with them and try to narrow down the issues to the most important. Most importantly, I would advise them on the law that is applicable. If the client wanted me to attend, I might prepare a mediation summary. If I was attending, I would likely need to look into their case in more detail. I would need to make up a file with relevant documents.

Cultural Diversity Experience

I have had a number of aboriginal clients and am familiar with the role that culture plays in their family cases.
