Approach to Supporting Clients in Mediation

While I am not a mediator I have taken part in mediations for 30 years and fully support this approach. I will initially meet with the client and then determine if they want me to provide them with a written proposal or brief. In addition I would attend the mediation and provide legal advice throughout the mediation. if preferred by client I would then draft the agreement reached or review the agreement and provide legal advice if I wasn't in attendance at the mediation.

I have practiced in the lower mainland of BC for over 35 years. I have dealt with many different cultures during that time.
