Approach to Providing Unbundled Legal Services:
Services provided are tailored to the client’s specific needs. My hourly rate is currently $370.00 plus tax. My unbundled services are currently limited to Supreme Court of British Columbia matters.
Mediation:
- Accredited as a Family Law Mediator by the Law Society of British Columbia
- Trained in Collaborative Family Law
- Acted as counsel in numerous mediations in the last 5 years
Approach to Supporting Clients in Mediation:
Explaining process to the client, discussing case, and possible outcomes
Discussing steps to take if mediation not successful
If the client wanted me to attend mediation I would prepare a Mediation Brief and have at least one preparation appointment with the client
If the client does not want me to attend mediation I can be available to provide advice during the day if prearranged
Available after mediation to discuss and provide Independent Legal Advice
Cultural Diversity Experience
I have experience with both family and child protection services. I have extensive experience with individuals from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds though my private legal practice as well as acting as duty counsel in both Provincial and Supreme Court.
