Approach to Providing Unbundled Legal Services:

Our main reason for providing unbundled services is so that clients, who may not be able to retain the full services of a lawyer, receive as much assistance as possible. For each case, we determine what the client needs, what they can do themselves and how we can assist in delivering services to them.

Mediation: I do not have mediation training.

Approach to Supporting Clients in Mediation:

Cultural Diversity Experience:

I am originally from Iran, and most of my clients are Iranian-Canadians. I grew up in Dubai and am aware of the Arabic culture as well. I have also worked with a number of other immigrant communities, and am keenly aware that there are added hurdles to getting "access to justice" for immigrant communities. Often, language and financial resources are a barrier. But, even more importantly, Canadian family law culture is sometimes so different from the client's country of origin, that they feel totally lost in the system. And that's when we can truly assist in providing access to justice.
