If you want a high-fidelity, wired studio monitor experience for critical listening and home audio setups, choose beyerdynamic Box; if you need lightweight, wireless earbuds designed specifically for active movement and long battery life during workouts, choose ZRATFWLJMDK Headphones Sports. These two devices occupy completely different worlds of audio engineering, serving distinct purposes that rarely overlap unless you are the rare individual trying to manage both a professional recording session and a marathon training regimen simultaneously.
• beyerdynamic Box: Offers superior sound isolation and accurate frequency reproduction with a robust, over-ear design, but requires a dedicated amplifier due to its 250 Ohm impedance and lacks wireless convenience.
• ZRATFWLJMDK Headphones Sports: Delivers exceptional battery longevity and sweat resistance with an open-back design for situational awareness, yet sacrifices deep bass and noise cancellation for safety and weight reduction.
• Who each pick is for: The beyerdynamic Box is the ideal choice for audiophiles, producers, and travelers seeking immersive, isolated sound in stationary environments like airplanes or studios. The ZRATFWLJMDK unit is built for athletes, runners, and commuters who prioritize freedom of movement, ambient awareness, and all-day wireless playback without cables.
The beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO, presented here as the "Box" option, is engineered for those who demand precision above all else. This isn't a casual listening device; it is a tool used by professionals in recording studios, post-production houses, and broadcast facilities. The defining characteristic of this unit is its 250 Ohm impedance, which means it is not designed to be plugged directly into a smartphone or laptop. Instead, it thrives when connected to a capable headphone amplifier or home stereo system where it can deliver detailed, accurate mixes. If you have ever tried to drive high-impedance headphones from a weak source, you know the difference this makes. When paired correctly, the low mass coil and diaphragm assembly produce a sonic quality that rivals electrostatic earphones, offering a level of detail that allows you to hear every nuance in a track.
The physical construction of these headphones speaks to their intended use case. With a closed-back design, they provide accurate isolation, effectively blocking out external noise so you can focus entirely on the audio signal. This makes them exceptionally well-suited for airplane travel, where the cabin hum needs to be silenced to appreciate the subtleties of a movie soundtrack or a complex orchestral piece. The ear placement is over-ear, utilizing soft fabric materials that have earned a reputation for comfort during extended sessions. Whether you are mixing a track for four hours straight or listening to a podcast on a long-haul flight, the build quality ensures they remain comfortable without digging into your ears.

However, there are significant trade-offs that mean this product is not for everyone. The requirement for a 3.5 mm jack with a 1/4 inch adapter limits its portability compared to modern wireless standards. You cannot simply toss them in a bag and expect them to work immediately; you need the right amplification gear to bring out their full potential. Furthermore, while the sound isolation is excellent for focusing on music, it might feel too confining for someone who needs to hear their surroundings while jogging or cycling. If you are looking for a simple, plug-and-play solution for your phone, this is likely not the right path. But if you value fidelity, durability, and a classic, enduring build quality that has stood the test of time in professional environments, this is a masterpiece of engineering.
In stark contrast, the ZRATFWLJMDK Headphones Sports represents the cutting edge of active lifestyle audio. Designed with a specific focus on mobility, these earbuds weigh a mere 5.5 grams per unit, making them virtually unnoticeable while you run, cycle, or hit the gym. The open-back design is a deliberate choice for safety; unlike sealed cans that cut off the world, these allow ambient sound to enter the ear canal, keeping you aware of traffic, other runners, and environmental cues. This feature is critical for anyone engaging in outdoor activities where situational awareness is non-negotiable. The IPX5 waterproof rating ensures that sweat and light rain will not degrade performance, making them a reliable companion for intense yoga sessions or sweaty summer runs.
Battery life is where this device truly shines for the active user. With a charging case holding 600mAh and individual earbuds carrying 50mAh, the total package delivers up to 45 hours of playback. This eliminates the anxiety of running out of power mid-workout or needing to charge frequently throughout the day. The Type-C fast charging capability further supports an on-the-go lifestyle, ensuring you get back to activity quickly after a quick top-up. The Bluetooth connection remains stable within a 10-meter range, and the inclusion of AAC and SBC codecs ensures decent HiFi stereo sound without requiring a complex app setup. The microphone integration also allows for clear hands-free calls, which is essential for managing logistics between workouts or during office breaks.
Despite these advantages, the design philosophy comes with compromises. Because the drivers are open-back and the impedance is low (16 Ohms), you will not get the deep, room-shaking bass or the complete noise isolation found in over-ear studio monitors. They are not designed to block out a crying baby on a plane or the roar of a subway train; they are designed to let you hear the beat while staying safe outdoors. Additionally, the lack of active noise cancellation means that in very noisy environments, the clarity of the music might be compromised by background noise. If you are a purist who wants to hear the exact frequency response of a recording without any interference, these might fall short. However, for the person who values weight, sweat resistance, and battery endurance over absolute acoustic isolation, this is a highly capable tool for daily life.
• Best for airplane travel → beyerdynamic Box, because the closed-back design provides superior sound isolation to block out engine noise and cabin chatter, creating a personal quiet zone.
• Best for exercise and running → ZRATFWLJMDK Headphones Sports, as the open-back design keeps you aware of your surroundings and the lightweight fit prevents slipping during vigorous movement.

• Best for multi-device switching without apps → ZRATFWLJMDK Headphones Sports, as it connects smoothly via Bluetooth without requiring additional software installation for basic functions.
• Best for durability in harsh conditions → ZRATFWLJMDK Headphones Sports, built with durable metal and plastic components designed to withstand the rigors of sports, while the beyerdynamic relies on delicate fabric and precise mechanical parts best suited for controlled environments.
After weighing the specifications and intended use cases, I would personally buy the beyerdynamic Box for my primary listening environment, especially for long flights and home studio work. The ability to isolate myself from the chaos of the world and immerse in high-fidelity audio is unmatched by wireless alternatives. While the ZRATFWLJMDK unit is impressive for its battery life and sporty utility, the beyerdynamic offers a level of sonic accuracy and build quality that feels more permanent and substantial. If I were buying for a gym bag, I'd grab the ZRATFWLJMDK, but for the ultimate listening experience on a plane or at home, the beyerdynamic is the clear winner in my opinion.
While the beyerdynamic Box is high quality, its 250 Ohm impedance requires a powerful amplifier not typically found in children's devices, making it less practical than the wireless ZRATFWLJMDK for young travelers who need simple, battery-powered audio solutions.
No, the ZRATFWLJMDK Headphones Sports feature an open-back design that does not block external noise; instead, they rely on passive isolation and volume control to let ambient sound in for safety during activities.
You technically can, but the 250 Ohm impedance means they will likely sound very quiet and lack bass response without a dedicated headphone amplifier or DAC to drive the drivers properly.
The ZRATFWLJMDK unit offers up to 45 hours of total playback time when using the included charging case, providing ample power for extended trips and workouts without needing frequent recharging.
