Bextiyar Vahabzade - Veten Var

Bextiyar Vahabzade (1925-2009) was a prominent Azerbaijani poet, playwright, and literary scholar. He was awarded the title of People's Poet of Azerbaijan SSR in 1984 and received many honors and prizes for his works. He was also a member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of Azerbaijan Republic.
