Scammers prey on vulnerable people and your emotions, your desire to get ahead financially, and your trust. Their sole purpose is to separate you from your money and your identity. Be alert, be skeptical, ask questions, and research, research, research! The old adage, “If it’s too good to be true, it probably is.” was accurate decades ago and remains even more so now.
