## 1. About the app

between is a relationship clarity app that helps users reflect on a specific personal situation involving another person. Based on the information entered by the user, the app creates teaser outputs, deeper readings, and saved history entries.

## 2. What data the app may process

Depending on what the user chooses to enter, the app may process:

- the user’s name

- another person’s name

- optional birth date information

- answers about relationship status, emotional concerns, and scan questions

- generated teaser content, report content, and saved history entries

- language preferences

- onboarding and disclaimer confirmation status

## 3. How this data is processed

At the current stage of the app, user-entered content is processed and stored locally on the user’s device.

This means in particular:

- names, birth dates, answers, teaser content, and report content entered in the app are not currently sent to a dedicated between server

- the app stores relevant information locally on the device so users can revisit past readings and settings

- this information is used only to provide app functionality such as scans, teaser outputs, reports, and local history

## 4. Why this data is used

The app uses the processed information to:

- generate teaser and report content

- store and display previous readings inside the app

- keep the selected app language and onboarding-related settings

- maintain the user’s in-app experience and continuity between sessions

## 5. Data sharing

At the current stage of the app, user-entered content is not sold to third parties and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

## 6. In-app purchases

If in-app purchases are offered through Google Play, payment processing is handled by Google Play / Google. between does not receive full payment card details such as credit card numbers.

## 7. Permissions

At the current stage of the release version, the app does not request sensitive Android permissions such as camera, microphone, contacts, or location.

## 8. Data retention

Information stored locally in the app generally remains on the user’s device until:

- the user deletes the app

- the user clears app data through device settings

- the app later provides an in-app deletion option and the user uses it

- the operating system removes local app data

## 9. User control and deletion

Because the current app experience stores data locally on the device, users can generally remove stored data by:

- uninstalling the app, or

- clearing the app’s local storage through device settings

If future versions introduce accounts, cloud sync, server processing, or additional integrations, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
