How does it work ?

Alprazolam is a triazole analogue of the 1, 4 benzodiazepine class of central nervous system active compounds that are sold under the brand name Xanax. 8-chloro-1-methyl-6-phenyl-4H-s-triazole [4,3-a] [1,4] benzodiazepine is chemical name of alprazolam. It contains cellulose, docusate sodium, magnesium stearate, sodium benzoate, corn starch, and silicon dioxide.

The presence of alprazolam in the tablet works by enhancing the activity of a certain neurotransmitter in the brain. Alprazolam plays the role of a short-acting tranquilizer.

Anxiety disorders
