Honestly, I didn’t think I’d write something like this, but here we are.
I have two kids, a dog who sheds like it’s his job, and a two-story house with carpeted stairs. I was vacuuming 3–4 times a week, and the old upright vacuum I had made it a complete nightmare. Heavy, awkward, always banging into my knees or walls.
So I went on a mission. I bought 3 different vacuums people were recommending for stairs. Only one made me say, “Yep, this is staying.”
Here's the breakdown:
It’s cordless (thank God), doesn’t slam into corners, and pulls up the dog hair I didn’t even know was there. It doesn’t feel like a workout every time I clean. Big win.
Been using the V8 for a couple of weeks now. It’s light, doesn’t tug on my wrist, and the battery actually lasts through a full stair clean without dying mid-way. Suction’s still strong after multiple uses, and it’s weirdly satisfying to empty. Honestly, thinking of grabbing a second one just for the upstairs closet.
