So I just found out about trakt.tv, you can mark titles you've seen, add to watch lists, and get recommendations, etc. But before I invest some considerable time marking all the movies and tv shows I've watched, is there a better site for this?

Are there any free apps where you can watch latest movies and shows like on websites (e.g - Himovies, Fmovies, etc). I tried their app version advertised on the website but doesn't seem work on Android phone or Android box (glitchy and crashing).

Okay if there's a site that rubs me the wrong way the most, it's probably the site Rotten (Tomatoes). Originally this shitty site came to my attention because fans keep on bringing up this site to defend shitty Marvel movies when I criticize them. Yes because clearly not being able to properly explain what makes a movie great and needing to cite a shitty site that has a critic score is signs of such intelligent people insert sarcasm. But idiots still feel the need to defend this dumbass site like it's the holy grail of determining film quality.

Or how Black Panther has one of the most ridiculous high scores on Rotten because the site disregarded any reviews they felt like under the notion these bad reviews are from "racists" trying to besmirch the sanctity that is Black Panther. Yes because we all know Black Panther is clearly one of the best produced and written masterpieces of all time. I mean dammit, the film introduces the title character by revealing he has to go through trial by combat in order to become king and get the Black Panther powers, powers he already had in the last movie. Such great writing! Which is totally on par with the craptastic writing we usually get from a MCU movie.

I am having some hard time trying to find websites I can watch famous movies and series with subtitles and audio in German. Do you guys know some websites I can use? Here in my country Netflix and stuff are really expensive

This site is the best site for movies and shows because the quality is unlike any other streaming site. However, if I wanna download an episode of a show - I can't. the URL is not valid and I can't find a link in inspect element. It's either just not there or because it does that 'paused in debugger'

Edit: I still welcome any insight people have, but apparently it's been asked a number of times in this subreddit recently already. I did a search before, and didn't see anything recent, but I didn't realize I didn't have results sorted by date. I found a couple promising sites, but I'd still like to know what other people are using.

I'd like to know what options are available for this, whether as dedicated solutions or ways this can be mimicked using existing platforms and plugins/extensions or whatever; if there aren't any good ones, I'm considering making one myself that would integrate with individual tracker sites for data and lists - IMDb or Letterboxd for movies, Goodreads for books, Last.fm for music, and so on.

I've heard this is the best way to learn a language but I can't find any shows or movies I like that have Russian subtitles (even when using a VPN). English is my first language and I'm from the USA.

Hi I'm new to this list and while I was looking for some movies to watch I was trying to find free websites to watch the most amount of movies and I came upon BFLIX and after scrolling I then realized how many movies from the list they had. They also are ad free to protect you from malware which I learned while trying to find out if they were safe.
