Waterspout Spotted in Camas

The National Weather Service of Portland reported a tornado and waterspout sighted on Sunday in Oregon and Washington. The tornado touched down at Linn County, Oregon, around 12:30 p.m., while the waterspout was spotted in Camas, Washington, at 9:30 a.m. On Monday, five waterspouts were also observed on the Oregon coast. A pilot reported the tornado to have touched down around one mile north of Daniels Field, near Interstate 5 in Linn County, at 12:30 p.m. Employees of the Olsen Run Winery food truck nearby recorded a video of the tornado. The employees stated that the tornado was on the ground for just over one minute and appeared to weaken as it moved toward I-5. Read more
