Star Wars Battlefront 2 Psp Mods

So I've recently started playing Battlefront II and am really liking it. The only thing is I wish I could play as other characters and so I figured I could get some mods for certain characters but I don't know how strict EA and Dice are over Mods in the game. If its just a skin mod, is it okay? If its a mod that changes how the characters play and their abilities/weapons etc, is that more likely to get a ban? Very curious cause I really want to play as Sabine Wren but I don't want to lose my account if it could get me banned.

So i tried dowloading a battlefront mod and everything is on its place but when i Launch it the game loads and and the mods arent there

the mod is Battlefront+ and I used Frosty Mod Manager
