Day 2

5 minutes to compare vocab ws, then go over

Read Paragraphs(P) 1-2 and highlight what you understand.

10 minutes on memrise for vocabulary

Day 3

Read P3 together and annotate

Read P4-6 alone.  Highlight and annotate. 

Compare annotations with shoulder partners.

Make a list of characters we have so far and what we know about them. (HW)

Day4

Ch 1 compare with compañero, cold call the answers

Read P7 out loud.  At tables decide what to highlight and annotate.

Day 5

Read P8 and make a T chart of le gusta/no le gusta

Read P 9 aloud to partner and summarize/annotate together

P10 starts the "Plot"

Make 3 predictions on your paper about what this book is going to be about.

Read P10-14 alone.  Highlight and annotate.  Discuss with table mates.
