Bernard Cornet is the Charles Oswald Professor of Microeconomics at the University of Kansas, and Emeritus Professor at Paris School of Economics and at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
He is currently Executive Director and Secretary of the SAET (Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory) and is a past President of SAET.
He was past Editor of the Journal of Mathematical Economics and is currently Associate Editor of Economic Theory, Journal of Economics and its Applications, Economic Theory Bulletin, Journal of Fixed Point Theory and its Applications, and Journal of Convex Analysis.
His research focuses on financial economics and decision theory, economic theory and general equilibrium theory , dynamics models in economics, and optimization.
