Welcome to the alternate reality of Bernack DS/OS 1.03. Where this year is now yesteryear, in a realistic-ish-y-kinda parody of 1994-95's Operating Systems.\
DS/OS was built from the ground up for The HTML5 OS Parody jam Hosted by yours truly as a love letter to the old designs and UI elements of the 90s, before the days of flatness all over the screen.
You bet your ass you can mod it!
At the downloads section, the Wick Editor project file, containing all the assets, clips, and code will be listed, download it all you want, DS/OS is yours to take, and yours to keep. You may publish mods so long as they are not NSFW or behind a paywall. This isn't meant to be a long term project (Unlike my other OS Project systematix) and was just meant to be a little dev exercise to dabble into older territory.
The "Specs"
Of course DS/OS runs on your modern browser wizardry, but it takes place in 1994, on a fictional Bernack Computer, the Desk system 2/30, a marvel of technology with the Next-gen chip, that seemed to good to be true, the BX-1559, the best CPU to date, rivaling even the best from Intex, LEG, and BMD. It's hooked up to a state-of the art stereo speaker system and 640x480 True color CRT, space age for the time. and a v.32 modem for internet. It also has the cheesy sounds to match. You can relive 1994 on your modern pc... today!
