Bermagui Local Post

Bermagui's local mail delivery service

Bermagui Local Post acknowledges that the people of the Yuin nation are the rightful owners of this land.

From the Postmaster

Hi, I'm Miro Jones and I'm postmaster of the Bermagui Local Post. I founded BLP in March 2022.

I deliver mail on my 1960s Malvern Star bicycle to people in Bermagui, a small seaside tourist/fishing town on the Far South Coast on New South Wales, Australia.

BLP produces unique stamps and postcards, which you can buy from our online store or Strangers in Paradise.

To learn how to send mail with BLP, drop by one of our drop-off points or read more here.

What is a local post?

A local post is a type of postal service which delivers mail within a small area or range (e.g. a town or suburb). Many modern local posts are owned by ‘philatelists’ (stamp collectors) simply as a pastime, and do not deliver actual mail. Learn more about local posts at the Local Post Collectors Society.
