Bento Haruna is a family mallkitchen based in Frogtown. A local small business run by Nana and husband, Philips. During her school years, Nana worked part-time for a Japanese family, where she helped the children with their studies and prepared meals, allowing her to learn authentic and complete Japanese home-cooking recipes.
Bento Haruna specializes in making Japanese street food, offering healthy vegan rice ball bento boxes, as well as Japanese snacks like bite-sized honey cakes and the occasional bite-sized strawberry chocolate pastry. Our menu changes with the availability of fresh, seasonal ingredients. In autumn and winter, we have limited offerings like oden fish cakes and vegetable skewers, while our Japanese rice balls are available year-round! All of our food is made with Mountain Valley spring water, using the purest water and Japanese rice to bring you the freshest and healthiest flavors. Herbs and fruits are homegrown in Frogtown. Fresh and healthy food that you'll never get tired of.
