Benjamin Tereick

This is my economics research site. In 2023, I left academic research and started working for Open Philanthropy.

Before, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in economics at the  Global Priorities Institute at Oxford University. I was also an Associate Member of Oxford's Department of Economics and a non-stipendary research fellow at Nuffield  College

I received my PhD from the Behavioral Economics Group  at Erasmus University Rotterdam and the Tinbergen Institute, under supervision from Aurélien Baillon and Dražen Prelec

My academic work lies at the intersection of experimental economics and microeconomic theory. During my PhD, I worked on improving methods for judgment aggregation and crowdsourcing. Click here to find out more about my research (most of it currently inactive). Older versions of some of these papers where published as my PhD thesis.
