Short BioI am an economist at the Federal Department of Finance (Federal Finance Administration, FFA), where I study long-term challenges to public finances, particularly those posed by climate-related and demographic developments.I hold a Ph.D. in labor and macroeconomics from Università della Svizzera italiana and a MSc. in Applied Economic Analysis from the University of Bern. I visited Stanford University as a researcher in 2022. The views expressed here are my own and do not reflect those of the Federal Finance Administration.Fields of interestI am broadly interested in applied economic questions, with a particular focus on the economic consequences of climate change, and the labor market impacts of automation.
