I am a mathematician working in the industry. Previously, I was an L.E. Dickson Instructor at the University of Chicago.  I obtained my Ph.D. from Stony Brook University under Samuel Grushevsky. In my research, I am  interested in the geometry of the moduli space of curves.

 I think about Abelian differentials on Riemann surfaces, their periods, and special subvarieties defined by algebraic equations in period coordinates..
