I am an L.E. Dickson Instructor at the University of Chicago, interested mostly in algebraic geometry and Teichmüller dynamics.
I think about Abelian differentials on Riemann surfaces, their periods, and special subvarieties defined by algebraic equations in period coordinates. I obtained my Ph.D. from Stony Brook University under Samuel Grushevsky.
