TIME, TIME, TIME, TIME, TIME. TIME!

Bible References (NKJV): "To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven." — Ecclesiastes 3:1.

"He has made everything beautiful in its time." —Ecclesiastes 3:11. Time is not merely the passing of days, months, and years. Time is one of God's divine instruments for fulfilling His purpose in the lives of His children. Before you were born, God had already appointed the seasons of your life. Every blessing, every promotion, every relationship, every open door, every victory, and every divine assignment has a time fixed by God. Nothing in God's Kingdom happens by accident. He is the Author of time, and He governs it with perfect wisdom.

We live in a generation that celebrates speed. People are praised for achieving success early, marrying young, becoming wealthy quickly, or reaching great heights before others. This constant comparison has left many hearts anxious and discouraged. Some have concluded that God has forgotten them simply because their lives are unfolding differently from those around them. But God never compares His children. He does not measure your life by another person's testimony or calendar. Every destiny is unique, and the Master Planner has carefully designed every journey. What God is doing in another person's life should inspire your faith, not create frustration in your heart. I learned this lesson through a personal experience that transformed my understanding of God's timing.

One day, my younger brother called to tell me that he wanted to get married. I had my fears. We discussed it, and I sincerely encouraged him to go ahead. After the conversation ended, however, I broke down in tears. I was older than he was, and I felt I should have been the one to get married first. My emotions were real, and for a moment, I struggled to understand why my own season had not yet arrived. As I cried before the Lord, I heard these words clearly in my ears: "I will work with my time and not with your time."

Those words carried authority, comfort, correction, and peace all at once. In that moment, I realized that my disappointment stemmed from human expectations, while God's plans were established in divine wisdom. I wiped away my tears, surrendered my own timetable, and chose to trust the One who sees the end from the beginning. That encounter changed my perspective forever.

God's delays are never His denials. What appears to us as waiting is often God's season of preparation. Before God releases a blessing, He prepares the person who will receive it. He develops character before promotion, humility before honor, faith before fulfillment, and spiritual maturity before responsibility. If God gave us everything we desired the moment we wanted it, many of us would not have the strength, wisdom, or maturity to sustain it. Sometimes God delays because He is protecting us from pain we cannot yet see. At other times, He is arranging circumstances, opening unseen doors, removing hidden obstacles, or connecting us with the right people. While we count days, God is accomplishing eternal purposes. One of the greatest spiritual dangers is forcing what God has not yet ordained. Impatience has led many people into relationships God never approved, careers God never assigned, partnerships that brought sorrow, and decisions they later regretted. Anything obtained outside God's timing may satisfy the flesh for a moment, but it rarely produces lasting peace. However, what God gives in His appointed season carries His blessing, His favor, His protection, and His lasting joy. Waiting upon God is not inactivity. It is an active expression of faith. While you wait, you pray. While you wait, you grow. While you wait, you serve. While you wait, you obey.

Every season of waiting is a classroom where God shapes His children for greater glory. Never measure God's faithfulness by the speed of His answers. He has never been late. The God who parted the Red Sea, raised Lazarus from the dead, and fulfilled every promise in Scripture still works according to His perfect timetable. His clock has never failed, and it never will. If you are waiting today, do not lose heart. Heaven has not forgotten your name. Your prayers have not been ignored. Your tears have not been wasted. Your faith has not gone unnoticed. The God who called you knows exactly where you are, and at the appointed time, He will cause every promise concerning your life to come to pass. When God's time arrives, no human being can stop it. No delay can prevent it. No opposition can cancel it. No power of darkness can overturn it. What God has ordained for your life will manifest in His perfect season because His Word never fails.

Conclusion: Trust God's timing more than your own understanding. Refuse to compare your journey with anyone else's. Be faithful in every season, whether you are waiting, growing, or celebrating. The God who controls time is also the God who controls your destiny. If you remain in His will, your appointed season, will surely come, and when it does, your testimony will reveal that God's timing was not only perfect—it was far better than anything you could have planned for yourself.
