Last updated: July 12, 2026. Shopping List ("the app") is provided by BenchApps. This policy explains what information the app does and does not handle. In short: the app does not collect, store, or share any personal information on our servers, because it has no servers.
Information the app stores: Your shopping lists, items, quantities, categories, and settings are saved only in local storage on your own device. This data never leaves your phone, is never sent to us, and is not accessible to us. Uninstalling the app removes it.
Information we collect: We collect nothing. There is no account, no sign-up, and no login. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or any other personal identifier.
Advertising: The app displays ads through Google AdMob to keep it free. Google may collect and use certain information (such as a device advertising identifier) to serve and measure ads, in accordance with Google's own policies. The app itself does not share your shopping lists or any personal data with advertisers. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Permissions: The app requests internet access only so that ads can load. It requests vibration access only to provide optional haptic feedback when you check items off.
Children: The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any data from children.
Changes: If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
