About Me

I’m a creative, learner-centred instructional designer and facilitator with a background in education, technology, and media production. I design inclusive, accessible learning experiences that help people build skills, confidence, and connection. Whether I’m developing a digital course, facilitating a workshop, or creating resources for diverse learners, I bring a practical, thoughtful approach grounded in empathy and clear communication. I recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology and have developed learning content in areas including cybersecurity, customer service, and equity-focused practice.

My path has taken me through classrooms, recording studios, and server setups, including several years as a stay-at-home dad — an experience that sharpened my adaptability, patience, and empathy. I’ve worked on Oscar-nominated film scores, taught and supported learners across a wide age range, and led the creation of a cybersecurity training platform. I bring lived experience and deep care to my work, and I’m seeking opportunities to contribute to teams that value learning, inclusion, and meaningful community impact.

Instructional Design Sample

This video was created as a work sample demonstrating my skills in content creation, instructional design, and learner-focused communication.

It introduces five practical strategies for inclusive adult learning, with a focus on accessibility, cultural responsiveness, and creating a sense of belonging.

I developed the concept, wrote the script and narration, designed the visual layout, sourced and edited all imagery, and produced the final video.

I also created a one-page handout and exit survey to support reflection and engagement.

Moodle Course Design

During my graduate IT studies, I contributed to the end-to-end development of this professional Risk Management training programme delivered through a secure Moodle LMS platform.

This included designing and facilitating structured learning experiences grounded in adult learning principles and responsive to learner needs.

I collaborated closely with stakeholders, learning designers, and subject matter experts to ensure the content was relevant, accessible, and practical.

Based on UX feedback from testing, I refined the delivery and structure of the programme to enhance engagement and usability.

For confidentiality reasons, I’m sharing a PDF excerpt of the course rather than full access to the Moodle site, as the complete training programme was developed for a real-world professional client and contains proprietary content.
