Ben Matthies

I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Notre Dame. 

My research focuses on monetary policy and central banking and on investor beliefs and asset prices. I also study the effects of remote work on firms and entrepreneurship.

I received my Ph.D. in Financial Economics from Yale University in 2019 and my B.A. in Mathematics from Dartmouth College in 2010.
