Written over three days, the concept derives from social peer pressure that occurs in youth. It was a quick and speedy pre-production, principal production, and post-production.
My production heads and I did this with seventy-seven bucks and a lot of asking for favors. Crashers opened me up into the world of pre-production and how much time can be saved if the right work is done beforehand, and not only does this work benefit the logistical elements of your film, but the artistic side as well. Learning about the wardrobe, the blocking of actors, and the props you include, help tell you a great deal about your characters and the story you are trying to tell.
Ultimately, working on this project was one of the most insightful experiences I've had, through the good and bad both taught me a great deal about filmmaking and why it's important to have intention behind the choices you make but also how the proper work beforehand can save a lot of time and effort, keeping your crew sane!
