What is Delta Math for?

I don't love the Connexus tests, so I have made my own TESTS in a website called Delta Math. The Lesson Intro Page for those lessons in Connexus have more information.

What' so great about Delta Math?

The tests and assignments I have made in delta math allow for Mastery Learning, which means you are given multiple attempts to master a skill/topic. I set a goal for each topic (like get 3 of these types of problems correct) but you get multiple attempts to reach that goal without your grade being penalized. You can also see multiple examples and watch help videos on each topic while you are testing. I believe the purpose is for you to LEARN the content, and doing a one-shot test doesn't give you the opportunity to learn from mistakes.

How do I sign up?

The link for my class code is in your Algebra course!

I already have an account but I lost the link...

If you already have an account you can just go to https://www.deltamath.com/

You won't need the registration links above. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, webmail me for it!

Okay I'm in Delta Math, now what do I do?

Your home page look like this:

Click the assignment you want to do (make sure you read the title!)

To start, click on the first section. So for the image below you would click on "Words to Expressions."

It will take you to the first section of the test (see image below). Right now the student's score is 0/1, but when the student gets one right it will change to 1/1. You can view examples, watch help videos, and try as many times as you want to get your 1/1 problems right! Then you see that the section you have successfully completed will be marked off with a green check mark. Then you'll move on to the next section.
