- all cyclists must wear a properly fitted helmet
- bikes must be in safe, working order and comply with road rules
- children 9-17 yrs can ride; under 14 must be accompanied by an adult

The Bega Tathra Safe Ride NSW Bike Week Community Ride is ON!! Celebrate NSW Bike Week & raise funds for the Mayoral Appeal Fund in the #Ride4Tathra.
Donations from riders will go to the Mayoral Appeal Fund.
If sponsorship can be obtained to cover costs, a percentage of net takings will also go to the Mayoral Appeal Fund.

All residents who lost their homes in the Reedy Swamp/Tathra Fire are eligible to ride for free.
7:30am -8:30am - Register at Bega Showground
Enjoy breakfast and coffee.
8:30am Ride briefing and Welcome to Country (TBC)
9:00am Depart Bega Showground, ride 16km to Lawrence Park, Tathra
Ride along Bega-Tathra Road -single-lane, rolling closure supervised by Platinum Traffic Services
11:00am Arrive at Lawrence Park, the home of the Tathra Sea Eagles and Tathra AFL
Tathra Junior AFL is looking to organise activities for riders at the finish - more details about catering and activities soon!
We are lining up our sponsors and hoping that we can have some great prizes to offer riders. There will be a range of free NSW Bike Week merchandise including stickers, slap bands and pack covers.
