This Privacy Policy explains how BEfree ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our mobile application (the "App").

• Health and Fitness Data: Information related to your meals, recovery zones (Green, Yellow, Red), habits, urges, and custom food/recipe entries. This data is provided entirely at your discretion as part of the core functionality of the App.

When you access or use our App, we may automatically collect information about you, including:

• Usage Information: Information about your activity in the App, such as features used and time spent on the App.

• Device Information: We collect device-specific information (such as your hardware model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers).

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's core functionalities (tracking recovery streaks, saving meal logs).

• Manage your account and provide customer support.

• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our App to improve user experience.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with third parties only in the following ways:

• Service Providers: We share your data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our App. Specifically, we use Google Firebase for authentication, database hosting (Firestore), and secure data storage.

• Compliance with Laws: We may disclose your information if we believe it is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on servers provided by Google Firebase. We take reasonable measures, including administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, to protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error-free.

5. Your Choices and Rights

A. Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can do this directly within the App by navigating to the Settings menu and selecting Delete Account. Upon requesting deletion, your personal data and fitness logs will be permanently removed from our active databases.

B. Access and Update

You may update or correct your account information at any time by logging into your account settings within the App.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our App or sending you a notification).
