Beep Test: Shuttle Run — Privacy Policy

This app is built to respect your privacy. We do not sell your personal data, and
your content stays on your device. This policy explains the limited data the app uses.
INFORMATION THE APP USES
- audio playback (the app plays the shuttle-run pacer track through your device's
speaker, including in the background while the screen is locked so the beeps keep
timing your test). The app does NOT use the microphone and does not record any audio.
- your test results and settings you enter (age band, sex, level/shuttle reached and
estimated VO₂max) are stored on your device only, to show your history and personal best.
- anonymous diagnostics and crash reports (via Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics)
to keep the app stable.
- an advertising identifier and related data used by Google AdMob to show ads. On iOS,
the app asks for your permission via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before any
tracking, and uses Google's UMP consent flow to honor GDPR/EEA choices. You can decline
tracking and the app keeps working with non-personalized ads.
This app does not require location, camera, or microphone access.
HOW IT IS USED
The beep-test pacer audio and all timing are handled on-device. Your results, personal
best and settings are stored on your device only. We use the data above only to provide
the app's features, to keep the app stable, and (with your consent) to show ads. We do
not build advertising profiles ourselves and we do not upload your content to our servers.
DATA RETENTION & YOUR CONTROL
Settings and results you create are stored on your device and are removed when you delete
the app. You can revoke tracking permission at any time in the iOS Settings app; the app
will continue to work with non-personalized ads.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The app may use: Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics) and Google AdMob (ads).
Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
CHILDREN
This app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal
information from children.
