I'm so glad the work-week is over. I've been WAITING to play with my friends for a while now. We usually play modded Minecraft every week at the very least. This year, we are doing a mod-pack that has some quality of life features, awesome movement, voice chat, a built-in map, and some more... off-putting mods. Regardless, I think we will have a good time, and things will be awesome!

We continued playing today. Oliver and I built some houses while Natalie, and Nicholas went mining and Chloe looked around for ruined portals and villages. She eventually came back mentioning she found a ruined portal, but it wasn't made of obsidian, instead being made of andesite.
We believed it must've been from one of the mods, because how else would it be there aside from a glitch? We moved the portal frame near our bases, ready to adjust it

We took a better look at the andesite portal during this session. After quickly finding out that a regular flint and steel wouldn't work, we scoured JEI for any recipes that could help us. We found a portal-block located under the mod named "MOD-OF-TOTAL-FUN," along with two lighters. Considering that andesite is a fairly early game block, we figured that the "Sulfur Lighter" was the correct portal igniter for the portal.
Natalie crafted the odd-looking flint & steel variant, and lit the portal. We went through it one at a time. With help from Oliver, who went first and built us a platform because our portal was hanging over the void, we each found the gray-colored void. Oliver was the first of us to realize we got a new recipe in our recipe books, so in no time at all we crafted it. It was a weird gray... paper? It had text on it telling us to find the coordinates 0, 0, likely inside of the dimension the mod itself called "Hell."
We had a bad feeling about this, but Nicholas and Natalie went back into the dimension to bridge their way over to the mainland we would soon discover. When they got there, they came back, told us it looked safe, so we all made the walk over to the end-like island. It was fairly normal, aside from mostly being made of bedrock as opposed to any other block, the oddly-textured chickens, and cows with furrowed eyebrows. The first two cows we found were actually the reason why we lost our first diamond tool and almost all of the iron, as they killed me and Natalie. I LITERALLY TOLD them I wasn't good at fighting, yet they gave me that sword anyway...

After setting up a base-camp of sorts, we learned that unlike the other two non-overworld dimensions, you could set your respawn point and sleep in this dimension, we found out the latter when the sky went dark in piglins spawned in a nearby biome of podzol, somehow not freezing.
Chloe, Oliver and I started mining the gold ore that was somehow here, while Natalie and Nicholas adventured to try and discover more about this biome. It wasn't long before we came across two different biomes made ENTIRELY of bedrock. Oliver stated that there was no was this was a glitch, because they would have a missing-texture or the biome would be made of air blocks instead. This was confirmed by our F3 menus telling us we were in a "Bedrock Biome."
When we returned to our base in the podzol biome that was called the "Andesite Biome" by the game; and I think I'm starting to see a naming pattern, it played this slightly off-putting song with reverb... It was still a pretty good song, and when it got into the main part, it felt... etherial.

Okay I'm a little concerned about what happened today. The five of us split into two groups. Nicholas, Natalie and I went to explore while Oliver gathered overworld resources with Chloe. After having failed to get the other two to come back to the base with me already, I asked again later in a more bone-chilling atmosphere... Natalie still wasn't convinced, and Nicholas didn't take her side this time, figuring that since it was creepy and dark from the night.
Then it happened.
I cut to black on my monitor, and Natalie's character was gone. We figured this had to do with operator commands until we saw a large shrine just within render distance.
We ran like the wind back to the base.

The four of us jumped to three because Nicholas went to search for Natalie as soon as it was day.
"It could've been a glitch" he reassured me. I didn't feel comfortable with his words. I went to the Nether with Oliver and Chloe and tried to take my mind off of it.
After killing blazes for their rods, wedecided to make a brewing stand just in case we needed any potions. We were given new recipes, but we couldn't check it because Chloe ignited some TNT so the fortress was to blow up any second. After leaving, we found out we could create a potion that increases our reach, which could be useful for mining and combat.
Seriously though, if anything happens to Nicholas, then I might move where I put my entries for safety and... I guess be fearful about the two?

After trying to call Natalie throughout the week to no avail, I tried to message Nicholas over Discord, and he responded so fast that the "Person is typing" didn't even show up, and he sent me a single message
"h̷̬͕̑ͅë̸̻͖́̐̿͠l̷̥̦̠̟̊̍̽͝p̸̟̰͚̲̿̀͝"
I could make out the word "help" from the jarbled mess, and I slightly wish I didn't, because that made me hate wanting to rejoin the world today.
When Chloe, Oliver and I got on, there was no background noise aside from a constant stream of cave noises. I immediately jumped when I heard the first one, but I guess I slowly got used to them...?
We made our way to the temple I described, and once it was in rendering distance...
Black. No visuals. And then a mask appeared on screen slowly. I asked if the other two saw that, and they asked me what I meant, so I guess I'm [REDACTED] today.
I just want anybody who may be reading to take my place in the best-friends-club, to make a positive difference for me, but only if I die.
If I do, you can find that linked at the bottom.
