Bed Escape ("the App") is provided by comseung ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Bed Escape mobile application.

Bed Escape is an alarm app that helps users wake up by requiring a water cup verification mission to dismiss an alarm. The App also allows users to configure alarm settings, choose alarm sounds, view alarm success history, and view advertising content.
We collect or access the following categories of information:
The App stores certain data locally on your device to provide its core features, including:
- Alarm time and alarm enabled/disabled status
- Alarm options such as vibration, skip next alarm, and weekend exclusion
- Selected alarm sound information
- Alarm result history, such as whether an alarm was completed by cup verification or skipped
- Calendar-style success history shown inside the App
- Information about how the alarm screen was entered (for example, from a scheduled alarm or from the Home screen)
If you choose an external audio file as your alarm sound, the App may store:
- The file URI provided by Android
- The display name or title of the selected file
The App requests camera access only for the cup verification feature.
When you use cup verification:
- Camera frames are processed on your device to detect whether a cup is present
- We do not upload camera images or video to our own servers as part of this feature
- We do not store camera images or recordings as part of normal app operation
The App uses third-party services such as Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob. These services may collect information such as:
- App usage information
- Device and app identifiers
- IP address
- Advertising identifiers
- Interaction data related to ads and app activity
- Diagnostic or performance-related information
This information may be collected directly by Google or its partners under their own policies.
If you contact us directly, for example by email, we may receive the information you include in your message, such as:

- Camera: for cup verification
- Notifications: to display alarm notifications
- Exact alarms and full-screen alarm behavior: to trigger alarms at the correct time
- Boot completed: to restore alarm scheduling after device restart
- Vibration: to support alarm vibration
These permissions are used only for the App's intended functionality.
Most user data handled by the App is stored locally on your device and remains there until:
- You change or delete it in the App
- You clear the App's data
- You uninstall the App
If you select an external audio file, Android may continue to grant the App access to that selected file until the permission is revoked, the app data is cleared, or the app is uninstalled.
Some locally stored app data may also be included in Android backup or device transfer features if those features are enabled on your device.
Data collected by third-party services such as Firebase Analytics and AdMob is retained according to those providers' own policies.
We take reasonable steps to protect information used by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can control many aspects of your privacy by:
- Denying or revoking camera permission through your device settings
- Disabling notifications in your device settings
- Clearing app data or uninstalling the App to remove locally stored data
- Managing ad and privacy settings through your device or Google account, where available
If you no longer want the App to retain locally stored settings or history, you can clear the App's storage or uninstall the App.
The App is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law for consent in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Third-party services used by the App, including Google services, may process information on servers located in countries outside your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
