OVERVIEW
BébéPapille respects your privacy and is designed to help parents and legal guardians organize and track their child’s introduction to food.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be stored or processed when you use the BébéPapille iOS application, why it is used, how it is protected, and the choices available to you.
BébéPapille does not require an account. Most information is stored locally on your device. Optional features, including iCloud backup and advertising, may involve services provided by Apple and Google.
WHO THE APP IS FOR
BébéPapille is intended for parents and legal guardians who want to organize and track their child’s introduction to food.
The app is not intended for children to use independently. Parents and legal guardians are responsible for the information they enter and manage within the app.
BébéPapille is free to use and supported by advertising.
INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
The app may store information that you choose to provide, including:
• The child’s name or nickname
• Date of birth
• Date when solid foods were started
• Foods introduced
• Dates of food introductions
• Observed reactions
• Notes
• Photos you choose to add
• Favourite foods and recipes
• Planned meals
• Shopping lists
• App preferences
Information about allergies or observed reactions may be considered sensitive health-related information.
Only enter information that is necessary and that you are authorized to manage for the child. You may use a nickname instead of the child’s real name.
This information is used to provide food tracking, meal planning, recipe organization, shopping list, and related app features.
BébéPapille does not send the child’s profile, food history, allergy selections, notes, or photos to Google AdMob for advertising purposes.
INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
Most information created within BébéPapille is stored locally on your device.
This may include the child’s profile, food introduction history, reactions, notes, photos, favourites, meal plans, shopping lists, and app settings.
Local information remains on your device until you remove it, reset the relevant app data, or delete the application.
Your device’s general backup system may also retain copies of app information according to your Apple and iCloud settings.
ICLOUD BACKUP
BébéPapille may offer an optional iCloud backup and restore feature.
If you choose to use this feature, a copy of your family data may be uploaded to a private CloudKit database associated with your iCloud account.
The backup may include:
• Child profiles
• Dates of birth
• Food introduction history
• Observed reactions
• Notes
• Saved photos
• Favourites
• Meal plans
• Shopping lists
• App preferences
The restore feature downloads the saved copy to your device.
The iCloud service depends on your Apple account and the availability of Apple’s services. BébéPapille does not receive your Apple ID password or Apple account credentials.
Apple processes information associated with iCloud according to its own terms and privacy policy.
EXPORTED BACKUPS AND SHARED INFORMATION
The app may allow you to export or import a backup file.
Exported files may contain personal or sensitive information, including information about a child, observed reactions, notes, and photos.
You are responsible for choosing where an exported file is stored and with whom it is shared.
Anyone who receives an exported backup, shopping list, or other shared content may be able to access the information included in that file.
BébéPapille cannot control or remotely delete files that you export or share outside the app.
PHOTOS
BébéPapille may allow you to select or add photos for food tracking and progress features.
The app only uses photos that you choose to provide.
Photos may be stored locally on your device and may be included in an iCloud or exported backup if you choose to use those features.
You can manage photo permissions through the iOS Settings application.
NOTIFICATIONS
BébéPapille may offer optional reminder notifications.
Notifications are used to provide reminders related to meals, planning, or other app features that you choose to enable.
You can disable notifications inside the app or through the iOS Settings application.
GOOGLE ADMOB ADVERTISING
BébéPapille uses Google Mobile Ads, also known as AdMob, to display advertisements.
The app may also use Google’s consent management platform to collect and manage advertising privacy choices where required.
Depending on your location, consent choices, device settings, and Google’s service configuration, Google may process information such as:
• IP address
• Approximate location derived from the IP address
• Device or application identifiers
• Advertising interactions
• Information about advertisement views and clicks
• Diagnostic information
• Crash information
• Performance information
This information may be used to provide advertisements, measure advertising performance, operate the advertising service, detect fraud, and protect the service.
Non-personalized advertising does not necessarily mean that no technical information is processed.
When required, the app displays advertising consent choices. When available, the privacy options inside the app allow you to review or update those choices.
You can also manage tracking permissions through the iOS Settings application.
Access to Apple’s advertising identifier is subject to the applicable iOS permission.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
BébéPapille may use the following third-party services:
Apple iCloud and CloudKit for optional backup and restore features.
Google AdMob for advertising.
Google User Messaging Platform for advertising consent and privacy choices.
These providers may process information on their own systems and according to their own privacy policies.
Their servers may be located in countries whose privacy laws differ from those in your country.

DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Information stored locally remains on your device until you delete it, reset the relevant information, or remove the application.
Deleting BébéPapille removes its locally stored information from that device. However, deleting the app may not automatically remove:
• Exported backup files
• Files shared with another person or service
• Copies stored in iCloud
• General iPhone or iCloud device backups
These copies must be managed separately through their storage locations and the tools provided by Apple.
Apple and Google apply their own retention periods to information processed through their services.
Support communications may be retained for as long as necessary to answer a request, meet legal obligations, prevent abuse, or resolve a dispute.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
BébéPapille is intended for use by parents and legal guardians.
The app is not designed for children to create accounts, use advertising features independently, or provide personal information without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
A parent or legal guardian is responsible for deciding what information about a child is entered into the app.
Only information that is necessary for the app’s features should be entered.
YOUR CHOICES AND PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have the right to:
• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of personal information
• Request a copy or transfer of your information
• Restrict certain processing
• Object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent for future processing
You can view and modify information available within the app.
You may also be able to export app information through the backup feature.
Some information is processed directly by Apple or Google. You may need to use their privacy tools or contact them directly for requests related to their services.
You may also have the right to submit a complaint to your local privacy or data protection authority.
SECURITY
BébéPapille uses the security features provided by iOS and the selected third-party services.
You should protect your device and Apple account by using a passcode, secure authentication, and the security features available through iOS.
Be careful when exporting or sharing backup files because they may contain sensitive information.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION
BébéPapille provides general educational and organizational information related to baby food and the introduction of solid foods.
The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always verify ingredients, allergens, food preparation, texture, serving size, and the child’s readiness before serving food.
Parents and legal guardians should consult a qualified healthcare professional when they have questions or concerns about allergies, reactions, feeding, growth, or the child’s health.
In an emergency or in the event of a serious allergic reaction, contact local emergency services immediately.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app’s features, service providers, privacy practices, or legal requirements change.
The “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be changed when an update is made.
Additional notice or consent may be provided when required by applicable law.
