If you want immersive noise cancellation and a proven wireless ecosystem for casual listening, choose Beats Studio3; if you need rugged sweatproof durability and double the battery life for intense training sessions, choose H2O Audio Zwift x RIPT.
• Beats Studio3: Offers premium active noise cancellation and seamless Apple integration but suffers from a shorter 22-hour battery life and lacks water resistance for heavy sweating. Best for commuters and home listeners who prioritize sound quality over extreme durability.
• H2O Audio Zwift x RIPT: Delivers an industry-leading 50-hour battery life, 100% sweatproof construction with washable cushions, and physical button controls for athletes. Best for runners, cyclists, and gym-goers who demand reliability in harsh conditions.
The Beats Studio3 is designed as a high-performance wireless noise-canceling headphone that prioritizes a premium listening experience through its Pure Adaptive Noise Canceling technology. This feature actively blocks external noise to create a quiet sanctuary, making it an excellent choice for travelers or anyone trying to focus in a chaotic environment. The inclusion of the Apple W1 Headphone Chip ensures a fast and stable connection with iOS devices, while Class 1 Bluetooth guarantees a robust range for Android users as well. If your primary goal is to isolate yourself from the world with deep, rich audio, this model delivers that immersion effectively.
However, the design choices here lean heavily toward comfort and style rather than athletic resilience. Weighing in at 2.2 pounds, these over-ear headphones are substantial enough to provide a secure fit for daily wear, but they lack any specific protection against moisture or sweat. The matte black enclosure and over-ear placement suggest a device meant for stationary use or light movement, not for a high-intensity run where perspiration is inevitable. While the touch controls offer a modern interface for volume and playback, they can be finicky compared to tactile buttons when your hands are moving rapidly or covered in gear.

You should buy the Beats Studio3 if you value long-term listening comfort and top-tier noise cancellation for travel, office work, or relaxing at home. It is also ideal for users deeply embedded in the Apple ecosystem who want instant pairing and consistent performance. Conversely, you should skip this product if you plan to use open ear headphones for jogging or if you need bluetooth earbuds for jogging that can withstand heavy rain or intense sweat. The lack of a waterproof rating means exposure to moisture could damage the internal components, limiting its utility for serious outdoor athletes.
The H2O Audio Zwift x RIPT is engineered specifically for athletes who push their limits, offering a level of durability that standard consumer headphones simply cannot match. Its defining feature is the 100% sweatproof construction paired with patent-pending removable silicone ear cushions that are fully washable. This design solves a major hygiene issue for regular exercisers: you can swap out the sweaty silicone pads for clean ones or wash them directly after a grueling session. For those who train back-to-back, having two pairs of cushions included—one silicone for workouts and one premium leatherette for recovery—means the headphones adapt to your entire day without compromising cleanliness.
Beyond hygiene, the RIPT Ultra focuses on performance metrics that matter during a workout. With up to 50 hours of battery life, these headphones outlast even the longest training weeks, eliminating the anxiety of a mid-workout dead battery. The custom 45mm drivers deliver a frequency range of 20Hz-20kHz, ensuring deep, punishing bass for motivation and crisp highs for clarity. Crucially, the device includes a Transparency Mode, allowing you to switch off noise cancellation instantly to hear ambient traffic or gym chatter when safety is a concern. This feature makes it a viable option for open ear headphones for jogging scenarios where situational awareness is non-negotiable.
You should buy the H2O Audio Zwift x RIPT if you are looking for the best bluetooth headphones for jogging or cycling. The physical button controls are strategically placed to be found by feel, preventing accidental mis-taps when you are wearing gloves or moving quickly. The built-in microphone ensures calls remain clear even in windy conditions. However, if you prefer a sleek, minimalist aesthetic over a rugged sports look, or if you do not require the extra battery capacity, this might feel like overkill. It is a tool built for function first, making it the superior choice for anyone treating their fitness as a serious commitment.

The 50-hour battery life and 100% sweatproof design are not just marketing buzzwords; they address real pain points for active users that the Beats Studio3 simply ignores. While the Beats Studio3 is a fantastic piece of audio equipment for commuting or relaxing, it lacks the ruggedness required for strenuous activity. If you are searching for open ear headphones for jogging or the best bluetooth headphones for jogging that won't fail you halfway through a marathon, the H2O Audio Zwift x RIPT is the only logical choice. It combines the power of deep bass with the practicality of washable parts and safety modes that keep you aware of your surroundings.

Both models feature Active Noise Cancellation, but the H2O Audio specifies 30 dB of isolation via Real Isolation Performance Tech, while the Beats Studio3 uses Pure Adaptive Noise Canceling for a more balanced, premium listening experience.
Yes, both models include a built-in microphone. The H2O Audio Zwift x RIPT features a multi-function button for managing calls, which is easier to access during movement than touch surfaces.
