Beatriz Manotas-Hidalgo is an Associate Professor (Lecturer) at the International University of La Rioja ( UNIR) from 2022.

Researcher  at UNIR iTED (Research Institute for Innovation &  Educational  Technology), and the Vice-Rectorate for Knowledge Transfer, Universidad Internacional de la Rioja.

Past:

Researcher at the Public University of Navarra from 2016 to 2022. 

Associate Lecturer at the Public University of Navarra from 2003 to 2016.

She made her PhD in Economics with Jose Enrique Galdón and Roberto Ezcurra Orayen at the Public University of Navarra. 

Her topics are instability and conflict, food security and climate change, development, gender and economic growth, and happiness.
