I am a Postdoctoral Research Officer at the Oxford Department of International Development (ODID). I am also a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics' International Inequalities Institute.
My research interests lie at the intersection between political economy and economic geography. I am especially interested in how changes in employment conditions impact inequality and multidimensional poverty, and how these shifts can influence political outcomes, including recent trends in radical voting.
As part of my work, I also collaborate with different governments and UN agencies to support countries in developing their national Multidimensional Poverty Indices (MPIs).
In a previous life, I held research, teaching, and policy positions at the University of Cambridge, the OECD, the European Commission and several consultancies and NGOs.
