Beatrice Pitton
I am a PhD student in Mathematics at Université de Lausanne and Università degli Studi di Torino under the joint supervision of Prof. Jacques Duparc and Prof. Luca Motto Ros.
My research interests are in mathematical logic, in particular set theory, descriptive set theory, and related areas. My research so far focused especially on generalized descriptive set theory.
In July 2021 I graduated in Mathematics at Università degli Studi di Torino. During my final year, I wrote a thesis entitled "Borel and Borel^* sets in generalized descriptive set theory". You can find an abstract here.
Previously, I was a student at Università degli Studi di Genova, where I got my Bachelor's degree.
