Beatrice Biancardi

I am a Postdoctoral researcher in the S2A team of LTCI (Information Processing and Communication Laboratory), at Télécom Paris.

I am currently working on modelling social cognition in small groups, by focusing on non-verbal behaviour.

I received my PhD from Sorbonne University in 2019, at ISIR (Institute for Intelligent Systems and Robotics), under the supervision of Catherine Pelachaud. During my PhD I developed a computational model for managing first impressions of an Embodied Conversational Agent in real-time interactions. More details about the project can be found here.

My research interests include:

  • Social behaviour modelling
  • Human-human and human-agent interaction
  • Embodied Conversational Agents
